1st EvolvEV Workshop in Kozani

The 1st workshop of EvolvEV project took place on the 21st of May in Kozani, Greece. The event was organized by the UOWM (project coordinator) and hosted at the university’s premises in the UOWM campus at ZEP, Kozani. A very interesting presentation was given by Mrs. Anna Daskalaki, Senior Electrical Design at MC-Chargers, covering the current status and the development of EV charges. Moreover, Prof. Dimitrios Tsiamitros (Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, UOWM) presented the training procedure of the EV technical staff in the context of a respective accredited educational and training program that is provided by the UOWM to engineers and technicians in the EV industry. In the workshop, the project partners presented the contents of the course that is being developed in the ΕvolvEV project and explained how this is going to be offered via the educational program of each partners’ university. Finally, the research aspect of ΕvolvEV was highlighted by presenting the virtual labs that have been developed in the project. The event was very successful with more than 40 students attending, while several stakeholders from industry also participated and expressed their interest in the project’s activities.
