As part of the EvolvEV project, three summer schools were hosted at the facilities of each partner institution. Their main objective was to foster entrepreneurial skills by encouraging participants to develop innovative business ideas within the field of electromobility.
Summer School on Electromobility and Innovation – May 31, June 2 , June 9-11, 2025, Skopje
The EvolvEV Summer School on Electromobility and Innovation took place at UKIM’s INNOFEIT Centre, bringing together more than 20 students for training on EV technologies, smart charging, and entrepreneurship. In collaboration with the INITIATE project and EDIH, the event hosted international academics and industry experts, including speakers from Porsche Macedonia and Solveo. The program concluded with a student competition, where teams developed and pitched business ideas for the electromobility sector.

Summer School “Electromobility and Innovation” – July 7–12, 2025, Kozani
Between July 7th and 12th, the second EvolvEV Summer School, “Electromobility and Innovation” was organized by UOWM and hosted at the ZEP Campus in Kozani.
Participants attended lectures and workshops on electromobility and entrepreneurship, while also working in teams to design their own business ideas in the field. The program combined technical insights with practical teamwork. Students not only gained insight into the latest trends in electromobility but also developed entrepreneurial skills, learning how to transform challenges into innovative solutions.
The week concluded with the local competition, where teams presented their business ideas to the audience. Experts in entrepreneurship and electromobility acted as investors, evaluated the ideas, and selected the best one.

Summer School - July 14–18, 2025, Cluj-Napoca
Between July 14 and 18, 2025, 26 international students from 5 countries, passionate about sustainability and entrepreneurship, gathered in Cluj-Napoca for an International Summer School hosted by the Technical University of Cluj-Napoca as part of the EvolvEV project.
For one inspiring week, Cluj-Napoca became a hub where innovative ideas met real-world challenges. Working in multicultural teams, students designed sustainable business solutions with a special focus on green mobility.
The program featured eleven intensive workshops led by international mentors and Romanian entrepreneurs, complemented by insightful field visits. Students explored real-life case studies drawn from rural communities and experienced a hands-on Tesla showcase, exploring cutting-edge electric vehicle technology. They also participated in pitching sessions and connected with local entrepreneurs through dedicated networking events.
Throughout the week, participants learned how to turn challenges into viable business opportunities. They also developed critical and creative thinking skills while strengthening their ability to collaborate effectively within diverse, international teams.
The experience concluded with a final pitching event, where teams presented their ideas to an audience of entrepreneurs and potential investors.
